BOOK TRAILER DAY!

There are stories that go along with these two book trailers that went up online today -- so many awesome stories I would like to tell! -- but they will have to wait until a time in the future when I'm not prepping for two video shoots, an article for FLC's ROP, and music for four conference liturgies at once. I'm so tired. But also very proud and happy of the work we have done on these.
First, we made a book trailer for my awesome friend Rachael, whose novel was supposed to come out in June. You can tell the strength of this story right from the get-go; after reading the script for the trailer, I didn't need to know any more. I was hooked on Elaria, I was hooked on her world, and I was hooked on reading the book. Now if Drollerie would only publish it already so I can get my hands on a copy!
Secondly, we have a book trailer for the wonderful
sartorias, whose Wren to the Rescue was part of the reason I got out of seventh grade alive (I know a book trailer's a bit of a wacky sort of thank-you card, but there you go). I had a lot of help on this, and the enthusiasm of the cast was incredible through two very hot shoots and difficult days. Everyone really gave it their all -- which was amazing considering that none of the people in the trailer are trained actors! Although Orlando is kind of a wacky place sometimes, it's a place I share with some crazy, wonderful, amazing people, and that's both an honor and a blessing.
Both trailers feature lovely VFX and end titles by
